They are nice and heavy. I love these and quit using softener a long time ago.
My old ones also were Alpaca but they are about 8 years old and not from the same company. I have tried to boil one but it only helped a little. New ones are sure worth it.
Tried a few brands before I found one that actually does clean the dishes. And it does so with 1 tab. I found I had to use two to get really clean dishes with the others. Very happy with this product.

I've been using both the laundry powder and the dishwasher powder. Both perform well. Laundry power has been a good remover of food and food oil stains. Blueberry and tomato sauce both removed. Laundry power leaves towels nicelyfluffed after tumble drying. Dish power purchased through the Good.Store. Diswasher powder purchased directly.

While my initial experience was substandard, a representative from the company did reach out to me with the intention of rectifying the issue.
