How does carbon neutral shipping work?
We use industry models to determine the amount of CO2 that is released into the atmosphere for each shipment, and then we give the amount of money needed to offset those emissions. These carbon credits are purchased through Pachama to support their conservation, reforestation and regrowth projects. While we know carbon neutral shipping is not the perfect solution to climate change, it is a necessary tool.
